Overview
The Veritas Desktop and Laptop Option 9.5: Administration course is a self-paced, modular program designed for data protection professionals. This course provides comprehensive training on deploying, installing, configuring, maintaining, and managing the DLO environment. It includes practical lab exercises in a DLO sandbox environment, enabling participants to apply their skills in real-world scenarios.
Objectives
By the end of this course, leaner will be able to:
- Install and configure the Veritas Desktop and Laptop Option.
- Manage administrator accounts and upgrade to Veritas DLO 9.5.
- Automate user assignments and configure global exclude filters.
- Manage and monitor Desktop Agent users and computers.
- Backup and restore desktops and DLO servers.
- Monitor alerts and generate DLO reports.
Prerequisites
- Basic working knowledge of administrating and configuring Windows Server 2016 and later platforms.
- Familiarity with system and network management.
- Understanding of backup and recovery concepts (beneficial but not required).
- Basic knowledge of data protection and security practices.
- Experience with software installation and configuration.
