Managing CentOS Migrations and RHEL Upgrades (RH174)

Overview

This course helps system administrators and IT professionals seamlessly migrate their CentOS Linux systems to supported versions of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and upgrade between major versions of RHEL. Participants will explore best practices for migration, tools for efficient upgrades, and techniques to mitigate potential risks during the process.

  • Plan and execute upgrades between major RHEL versions.

  • Identify, troubleshoot, and mitigate risks during migrations and upgrades.

Prerequisites

  • Familiarity with Red Hat Enterprise Linux or CentOS Linux environments.
  • System administration experience, ideally equivalent to the Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) level.
