Objectives

At the end of Red Hat System Administration II training course, participants will be able to

  • Understand the architecture and use cases of Event-Driven Ansible (EDA).

  • Read, write, and test basic Ansible Rulebooks triggered by event sources.

  • Install and configure Event-Driven Ansible controller.

  • Integrate EDA with job templates and automation controller.

  • Set up GitOps workflows using Git-based event triggers.

  • Use network telemetry to drive automatic configuration or remediation.

Prerequisites

  • User-level experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux and shell commands.
  • RHCSA or RHCE-level skills recommended.
  • Familiarity with command-line Ansible, Git, and Visual Studio Code.
  • Basic experience with Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform 2 and automation controller.
